The Mish

YEAH!! My parents are home from their mission in Ireland. All the fam (minus Michelle and Bennett and Flo) were there to greet them all dressed in green. We were quite a spectacle, especially as the cousins started feeding off of each other and before we knew it they were all crawling in a line in front of the escalators chanting some strange poem. Good times. We're glad they are back!!!

Superheroes

What is better than boys with capes sewed onto T-shirts? A whole family with capes sewed onto T-shirts. And what is even better than that? The fact that we are all Greek Gods and Goddess. Thanks to my sister's wise Christmas present, my boys have not only worn their superhero shirts pretty much 24/7, but have learned a little mythology in the process.

Inventions

The more stuff and kids I accumulate, the better I get at organizing it...but I have a long way to go. Eli likes to give me lots of practice because he doesn't like to throw things away. Especially his inventions! The problem is, he "invents" at least three times a day, and all of them are very special to him. I'm all for wasting household items and using lots of tape, but where do I put these???

Snow White

Cade does the best sad face ever. This picture doesn't do it justice, but whenever he puts on his pout, you can't help but stop and appreciate just how sad he is able to make his face look. The other night in the bath, he pulled this face and said in a quivery voice..."Ewi said I want to be Snow White when I grow up and I DON'T"

Subsequent Children

It seems like the third baby doesn't get the calm environment of the first, or held quite as much as I wish. His naps are irregular, he gets poked and prodded.
I guess he just learns to make do.

The new do

Eli found a comb and proudly came out of the bathroom showing off his new hairdo. Luke's face pretty much sums up our reaction.
